My Lipstick's just a shade too dark
With skin a little too pale
My hair thrown back without a care
And I'm hiding behind my eyes

This isn't your ordinary fairy tale
The villains in the lead
My prince just went down the wrong road
And I'm hiding between the lines

I'm just a little loner girl
With friends here and there
Who just cries herself to sleep each night
and in the morning
is hiding behind her smile

Well the pages are soaked with tears
With words too blurry to read
My smile beams beyond the rest
